      I am contacting you in regards to the application on the Northeast Georgia Medical Center website. I am a currently attending Chestatee High School with the goal of attaining a degree in nursing from Valdosta State University. I am interested in the Patient Care Tech opening that was listed. I have an internship history with Northeast Georgia Medical Center and I believe that I would be an appropriate asset to the medical team.

   Due to my internship experience, I feel that I would be a good asset to the staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. I have had the opportunity to rotate to several floors of the hospital. During my rotations I became familiar with the staff, the hospital layout, and the daily routines as a Patient Care Tech. I have had the opportunity to observe and assist in the daily tasks of Patient Care Techs for 15 hours per week for a total of 9 months. Based on my prior position as a sales associate for a year and a half, I am confident in saying that I have a strong work ethic and that I have established key social skills. My extracurricular activities and community service efforts have also contributed to my work ethic and have taught me persistence and compassion, which are two traits that I feel would be beneficent to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
